Enrique A. Monteagudo, Esq. is a registered patent attorney licensed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office and the Arizona State Bar.
He has 15+ years experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications in corporate, startup, law firm, and solo practice settings. Mr. Monteagudo holds a B.S. from University of California, San Diego and a J.D. from University of San Diego. His professional experience includes legal, engineering, management, volunteer, and small business roles, and is an honorably discharged veteran of the US Air Force.
Enrique's personal interest include music, travel, and international relations.

My practice specializes in patent and trademark prosecution, patent portfolio management, invention "harvesting", and intellectual property ("IP") education.
My Approach
I believe that client education is the key to developing a quality IP work product. As such, I take a collaborative approach where, after providing a baseline understanding of the IP "tools" being developed, we can draw out and capture the Client's innovations in a way that is thorough, makes sense, and ultimately becomes useful in the Client's arsenal.
Further, as an experienced solo practitioner, I can maintain a lower overhead, and efficiently offer direct client interaction, personalized attention, and overall value.
